Purpose

The Fayette All Age Friendly Committee (FAAFC) is committed to programming efforts housed and delivered at the Starling Hall purposed to enhance our resident’s ability to age in place, regardless of age.
To also pursue opportunities offered by AARP that support Age-Friendly
Communities and introduce opportunities for community development by virtue of community services and recreational programming for all ages.
The Committee shall serve at the direction of the Board of Selectmen.

Membership

The Committee shall consist of five (5) members appointed by the Board of
Selectmen for their knowledge and interest in supporting the virtues of all age friendly programming for the residents of the Town of Fayette.
A member of the Board of Selectmen shall serve in an ex officio capacity as liaison to the Committee, who shall have the right to attend all meetings of the Committee and participate in any discussions but shall not vote as part of the Committee in internal voting matters before the Committee.
The Committee shall elect a chair, at its first regular meeting as soon as possible thereafter, from within their membership.
The Town Manager shall provide the Committee with appropriate administrative direction.
